Welcome
The High Wycombe Methodist Circuit was originally created in 1815 from at least 5 churches in the Oxford Circuit. Over the years, churches have come and gone, until there are now 13 active churches in the Wye Valley area.
The High Wycombe Circuit is part of the Northampton District. There is a link to their website on the Links page.
On this site you can find a little of the history of churches in the circuit, more information about the churches, contact details, and links to different church websites
We have a copy of the current preaching plan so you can see who is planned at each church.
There is a a diary page giving advance notice of forthcoming events, and a photo gallery with a selection of pictures of the churches and actvities.
There are links to other sites of interest, and a map page showing the location of each church.
If you want to find information on on any of these topics, just click the appropriate link on the menu to the left.
It's Christmas...
Last Thursday - in the middle of Marlow's infamous Late Night Shopping event, some strange characters were seen walking up through the crows, the first two a weary man and heavily pregnant women leading a donkey; they were followed by some excited shepherds - with sheep!! - asking where the baby was in the manger and a while later three distinguished looking older men came asking where the child King could be found! It turned out that all these could be answered in the forecourt of the Methodist Church in Spittal Street where a living nativity was occurring using adults, animals and not a tea towel or dressing gown was in sight!
Luckily there was a photographer on hand to record the happenings.

Look at the rest of the pictures in the Marlow Living Nativity folder of our Picture Gallery
